Why are memories special?
Memories are the diaries of our lives. They make up what we are, what we’ve done, who we’ve seen, and how we did it. Memories matter.
Memories carry with them a range of emotions, from happy memories of good times to sad remembrances of losing friends and family members. The types of emotions go far wider. We might feel nostalgic, angry, proud, fearful, joy, horror, relief, confused, awkward, amused, anxious, or in awe. Specific memories are tied very closely to the emotion we feel regarding them.
